A silver 2020 RAM 1500 parked on the street in Sheboygan, WI

2020 Ram 1500: Capability to Impress

The 2020 Ram 1500 is a pickup truck with a lot to offer. It has an incredible set of performance features as well as an enticing amount of trim levels to choose from. The feature-rich interior and slew of safety features also make the new Ram 1500 a pickup truck worth test driving. Here's a quick look under the hood at the Ram 1500's most impressive capability features. more Tow Just About Anything One of the best capability features on the 2020 Ram 1500 is its towing capacity. In addition to a healthy payload capacity of 2,000 pounds, the 2020 Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds when properly equipped. This means you can get more done in less time with fewer trips to the hardware store for personal projects. It also means you won't have a problem towing that brand-new fifth wheel camper across the country. A lot of the 2020 Ram 1500's power and capability features are tied to the type of engine under the hood and which drivetrain you select. This year, you can select one of four different engines and all-wheel or front-wheel drive depending on which of the seven trim levels you opt for. The first engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 Pentastar engine with an output of 305 horsepower. It can tow up to 7,730 pounds. The higher engine configurations are where the real towing capacity comes in. The second available engine is a 3.0-liter V-6 Ecodiesel engine that produces less horsepower (260), but a huge torque boost for a towing capacity of 12,560 pounds. The third available engine is a 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 with an output of 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. It can tow up to 11,610 pounds. The most powerful engine is the 5.7-liter V-8 Hemi with Etorque which can tow up the full limit of 12,750 pounds. A Multi-Function Tailgate for Added Convenience Another great feature of this year's Ram 1500 is the addition of a multi-function tailgate. This powerful tailgate has a 60/40 split which allows you to open the bed lick a pair of barn doors rather than dropping it down. This might not seem like a huge addition, but it allows you to load the bed via forklift, which is a huge bonus for big DIY jobs. You can still use the 60/40 split tailgate when you're towing a trailer for easy access. There are also added closed cargo compartments above the wheel wells. This lets you keep valuable items or those you don't want to be exposed to the elements safely tucked away. Multiple Cab and Box Styles Another great feature found on the 2020 Ram 1500 is the impressive selection of cab and box styles. Most trim levels give you the choice of a crew cab or quad cab configuration as well as a box size between 140.5 inches and 153.5 inches. When it comes to capability and dependability, look no further than the 2020 Ram 1500. It has all the best power and performance features you look for in a truck. Image via RAMTrucks.com

A white 2020 Dodge Charger Widebody at dusk in Sheboygan, WI

Feel the Power of the 2020 Dodge Charger

You've never lived if you've never felt the power of a Dodge Charger. Just when we thought the Charger lineage couldn't get any better, the 2020 model surprised us all. Here's everything you should know about this crowd-favorite muscle car: more Reliable Power One of the reasons the Charger has stayed in the driving public's good graces for so long is the exciting levels of power it brings to them. The 2020 Dodge Charger makes good on this delivery with its dynamic power offerings. Even at the Charger's base level, it gives drivers up to 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque to enjoy, which might be enough for the average driver to excite their otherwise dull commutes. But if it's raw power you seek, the Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody is equipped with a 6.2-liter HEMI SRT Hellcat V-8 engine that packs a white-knuckled, best-in-class 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Whichever of the Charger's four engine options you choose, you can be sure you're signing up for a good time. A Charger for Any Situation When we think of muscle cars, our minds might immediately jump to "Fast and Furious" situations where we get to unleash our pony's full potential. But after your races, real or imagined, you're still going to have to go to work the next day, sometimes in the rain or snow. Not exactly movie magic. Luckily for us, Dodge has given you the option for an all-wheel-drive system in a muscle car that gives you a boost of confidence when you're driving on slick roads. In addition to the traction control feature, you can maintain control over your vehicle over more roads than the Charger's competitors could handle. The new Charger also delivers a reliably smooth ride with its performance suspension options. Our favorite is the Hellcat Widebody's suspension which you can adjust to provide the perfect driving experience for that day's adventure. Throw in the high-performance brakes, and you have a Charger that can handle any situation. Style In a world where sedans are losing ground in the market every year, the Charger stays on top of its game. We speculate that this is in large part due to the undying style it brings to the road every year. For starters, its four-door muscle-car design gives thrill-drivers an option that's both exciting to look at and is ready to handle their life's busy schedule. And regardless of the utilizable space, the 2020 Charger just looks cool. A blacked-out, aggressive front fascia rises proudly before giving way to the chiseled body lines that stretch back along its body. The scoop hood speaks to the Charger's heritage and makes it looks fast even when it's standing still. The 2020 Charger is the flagship for what the future of pony cars should look like. If you're ready to find your next favorite car you've ever had, come see our team at Sheboygan Chrysler Center. Let us show you why so many drivers choose a Dodge year after year.
